Larry Graham Clarkson has received more than 300 local, regional, national and international awards of excellence for illustration and design including Graphis, CA, Print, AIGA, New York Art Directors Club, Creativity, UCDA, AIGASLC and ADSLC among others. His design work has appeared in national and international design annuals and publications including Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, Creativity, AIGA Annuals, and New York Art Directors Club Annuals. Commissioned illustrations, design case studies, and samples of my design work have been featured in various and sundry books including Typographic Specimens: The Great Typefaces (Meggs & Carter), Working with Computer Type (Carter), Photographis, Graphis Stationary, and Graphis Logo among others. He was one of 100 American designers selected to create a commemorative peace poster in 1983 for the Shoshin Society. The Hiroshima Appeals Collection was exhibited simultaneously in Washington DC, New York City, Hiroshima, and Tokyo, and published as book.
